I finally did it!! yes a cut my hair, I wanted short hair for the last 6 months but was too afraid that it was going to look funny, or not cute. But I love it, it takes my about 15 minutes to do it and is really refreshing in the hot weather. Steve likes it OK he is long hair guy but he likes it when is curly so at least I can do it curly and he forgets that I cut more than 10 inches off. Joey seems to like it just fine cause he can still pull it.

Is crazy to think that four years ago we were getting married, and today we have our little 9 month old, 30 pounds more and Steve has very little hair left, but we are so so happy, with all the ups and downs and all the joys and tears we are here and we are together and happy and we love each other more than ever, I hope the years to come will bring more joy and happiness and that together we can celebrate more anniversaries.

We went to Vini's for mother's day, the guys(vini, ibn and steve) and fa put a barbecue together for us. Ibn was a little late and he was the one tha was going to bring the meat, he is so funny we always joke that we need to tell him to come 2 hours before we get together and then he is on time, anyway steve made a taco salad that was super good and so while we were waiting for ibn's arrival we had the taco salad, the wait was worth it the meat was really good we had pork(yeah i know the swine flu we did not care)chicken, shrimp and carne asada. We had such a good time, thank you guys!!

Steve asked me on Saturday if i wanted my mother's Day gift, ( the reason why he asked is because i can't never wait for surprises) but this time i said no it's OK ,i can wait and i did. On Sunday morning he came in to the room with this beautiful picture of me and joey when we were in the hospital (the day i became a mom) it's so good, he always tells me that is really hard for him to do pictures of people. But this picture is beautiful I love it, thanks so much for such an awesome day!!

Joey is 6 months already, time is just flying he is so so big and cute, we can't get enough of him, but he is just like mommy and daddy he has the not so good traits of us, he is very very temperamental just like me and when we go out he is really shy and he loves just staying home with my grandma. We went to the studio to take some pictures because I wanted to get some pictures of him with the rubber duck and the tub, and that was really it, but they ended up taking 116 poses and he look really cute in all of them and of course i couldn't help it but to get a bunch, I guess I'm a new mom and they took advantage of me, anyway it was really fun but we couldn't get him to smile as much as he smiles with mamimaria I knew she needed to come with us, but it was a little early, fa is the next one in line to make him smile and then me I think, Steve is somewhere in between, so he did smile but not as much. I know that every mom thinks that their kids are the cutest, and I'm one of them. But I really think that Joey really is cute! because I don't know if they always do this but they asked me if I could sing a release of the pictures so they could use it for their advertisement , anyway I really don't know if they always do that with everybody but i think that was cool that they maybe use his pictures.

Joey had so much fun with fa and mamimaria, that day they were out for two whole hours they came home ready for a nap and joey's cheeks were so red and he looked so tired, everyday I get amaze that mamimaria looks so good and has so much energy at 83, she is such a good example for me and for everybody in our family not just of how amazing she feels health wise but how strong she is with the church, she has so much love for everybody. She sometimes has her days and she tell us how lazy we are(truly we are) but who likes to be told that they are lazy? I don't, but even in those days i love her so much and appreciated what she has done for me in my life and what she is doing for our little family, she takes care of joey so godd and I love to have her here for me so she can reassure me that I'm things right when it comes to Joey's things, because she will tell me that me and steve don't bath joey that great she is so old school she scrubs the poor joey like heck, but joey loves it and is good those days that joey gets a bath form her because the back of his hears actually gets clean. My family came to visit for easter and they stayed for a whole week, yes in my 2 bedroom apartment, it was so fun it was like having a sleep over everyday, I love my family i cannot imagine my life without them. It was so fun we were all together like when we were all little. Steve is such a great husband my family loves him, and he is such a amazing person he did not complain at all because we had so mamy people in the apartment, all he wanted to do was to make them feel at home and that really means a lot to me, babe you are the best!!! Te amo tons.

Between school, work and motherhood I need to find ways to spend time with joey and when I find the time to be with him I need to entertain him, so I gave him my stethoscope and he was loving the thing, It's amazing how even after a 12 hour night at work when I come home all I want to do is be with him and hold him. Having so much stuff going on makes me value and appreciate the time that I spent with my family specially joey because he is growing so, so fast. I love you little boy

It stills amazes me that JOEY got daddy's BLUE eyes, when i was PREGNANT i used to say that it would be really cool if JOEY got blue eyes and it happen, and everyday that passes by i love his eyes and every SINGLE thing about him more and MORE, I'm so grateful for these two BOYS in my life and for the support that i have from Steve with school, work and everything else in our busy schedules. After the long wait for Joey's passport we were able to make it other there we had such a good time, Steve really had a good time with all the outdoor stuff that you can do over there and he like how green everything was, and Joey was the best baby ever no complains on the airplane and once we were there no tummy aches or nothing he was sleeping ever than ever and he was loving all the attention he got from all of my fam, i can't wait to go back.

I can't believe my little boy is 2 months already, time goes by so fast and he is soo big, I went back to work last tuesday and I'm holding the little 6 pounders and joey feels like a giant next to them, he is so cute i love him to death, before when I came home from working a 12 hour shift I hardly could stay awake to brush my teeth and now I come home and feed my little baby and I love that time that I spend with him.

Thanksgiving week!!

So we had Steve's family over and it was very fun, we had pizza for dinner instead of turkey, I know, I know how lame but his family did not want me to worry with dinner because of joey and because there were too many of us, so i guess it was a really nice thing from them, but I really felt that i needed to do something for them cause i don't always get to see them but at the end it was really nice ti have them over and just relax and enjoy each other's company. we went to the castle up by the mental hospital to drop Steve off! just kidding we love the castle and we always take our visits there and they tied some rope between two trees and they were going from side to side anyway the point of this story is that a cop came over and told them that they were not suppose to be doing that and i was really scare that they were going to take them. after all we are in Utah and cops don't have anything to do, so something like that is the highlight of the day for them.

I can't believe how fast time goes by and how big my little man is, 1 month wow what can I say?, I love being a mom, after the 1st two weeks of learning the whole breastfeeding art,I think I got it down joey is gaining weight, he is now 10 pounds 4 ounces. Now I can say that so far I love a lot of things about motherhood, of course there are those little things that are not so fun like when they are crying and there is nothing you can do for them but hold them and hope they feel better, just the thought of going back to work makes me have that bitter/sweet feeling, I love what I do at work. But he grows so fast that I don't want to miss anything that he does! oh well life is not always what you want. The sweet part of going back is that I'm going to see my so love friends at work. I miss hanging out in the nursery, so at the same time can't wait to go back!! See you all on Dec the 8th.

I normally don't brag about my husband but this time he went all out with the Halloween costumes for him and for Joey, he always makes his costumes from scratch, this time my mom was here and she helped with the sewing so instead of taking days making the pants it took a couple of hours, in our Halloween party they won the father-son best costume, i was really proud of him,here are some cute poses of him

] As all of you know I was schedule for an induction on Tuesday 14th but on Sunday 12th I decided that he was kicking me abnormally(whatever that means) so I decided to head to the hospital and told them that I also had a sharp pain on my right side, but I ready did not, anyway I was the only one on the floor so they got me all ready to get check and I guess at that point I was contracting a little so the nurse said that since I was already 5 days over they were going to keep me. At this time it was around 11:30 HECK YEAH my little white lie worked, at this point they were going to star my IV and give me something to get the contractions going and I was brave to go for 5 hours without an epidural but when they checked me I was still just a 4+ so I decided I could not take it any more and they gave me the thing, that is the greatest invention on earth! So after that I went from a 4+ to a 7 +in a matter of 30 minutes and the nurse came after 30 minutes and I was complete and we started pushing around 7:00pm and I pushed for and hour and a half around 8:30 the doctor said that the baby was not coming down and he was also posterior so the words "C-Section" came out of his mouth and they got me all ready for the c-sec I was a little sad but i just wanted him to be ok, so good thing we did because he was 8-11 pounds and I was to small for him so i'm just glad I did not push anymore. The surgery was good no pain the epidural guy was amazing!!!!

YEAH nothing yet. I'm just getting bigger and bigger and no baby yet oh well. ah and guess what? my parents are here and no baby, but I'm really not that worry I'm sure you can tell, I'm just here sitting and waiting. No worries no stress!!!! Yeah right I want this thing out and I want it out now!!!! I have a doctors appointment on Wed 8 so I'll let you guys know what's going to happen.

I need to put the crib skirt and get all the junk off the crib.
Steve draw the animals on the frames and I helped to paint one, but you can totally tell the one that i did from the others. I think they are so cute but he says that they look like a 4 year old did them. I love them and I think that they mean a lot because he did them.

We still need to finish some stuff, like the frame that needs the borders I need to hang the little hammock with the stuff animals.

I'm starting to feel ready!!! MAYBE

Steve's grandma was in town too and so we went and

had some lunch with the grannies.

I'm sure everybody knows that my abue is

back and enjoying spending time with her

she is so loving and nice to me! I'm glad she is here to help me with Joey.

I went to get a pedicure with the nice lady
from japan and yeah i know that my feet look

a little fat and funky. The joys of pregnancy!!
